Details:

I like the green circle that currently highlights the cursor position, but I
think there's something slightly unintuitive about the interface as it
currently stands.  The cursor has to show two things:  the insertion point for
new notes that are inserted, and also, the "current note" which would have
notes added to it when you AddNoteToChord, etc.  Currently this is shown by
slightly offsetting the green horizontal rectangle cursor to the left to show
that's the insertion spot, but this makes it a bit odd when you are editing
chords/notes.
I'll attach a couple of pngs which if you switch back and forth between them
in a picture viewer can give the impression of an animated cursor, together
with the green rectangle showing the current staff position.  It looks to me
like an intuitive interface.  Just putting this idea out there if it seems
worthwhile.
