the bottom line is a ham license really changes nothing unless you're cited by the FCC with a Notice of Apparent Liability (NAL) for transmitting on an allocated amateur frequency without a license.
I was thinking of licensed activity *on* the UHF/SHF ham bands. Wouldn't this also rule out a current Ten-Tec rig, or
a TAPR DSP-10? Frank
