Means that an amateur receiver is not an SDR in Sweden -
we are allowed to listen on all frequencies here:)

The EU (and the FCC's) SDR regulatory lever is associated with the "radios". No radio, no (or almost no) regulation. Whether it is used as a component of a radio system is dependent on the overall HW/SW configuration, which is entirely in the hands of the user.

The present development is a really signal processing toolkit. Yet another reason to change the name of the GNURadio project. How about GNUSignal?
