I created a patch to fix the issue of missing message connections. If
you want to help testing, see
https://github.com/gnuradio/gnuradio-wg-grc/tree/grc_fg_load_fix
Let me know, if this works for you. Also, the hier/ example in gr-blocks
had a minor bug. See:
