Announcing GNUstep Launchpad Prelease 0.9.1:

GNUstep is a free, object-oriented development environment,
consisting of libraries which implement the basic functionality of most
common applications, as well as various tools to support the
developement and execution of applications.

GNUstep Launchpad is a collection of packages that allow one
to write non-graphic tools and applications. These include:
The Makefile Pacakge, a set of prewritten make scripts for simplifying
makefile
writing; The Foundation classes, basic non-graphical classes such as
arrays, run loops, and distributed notifications; and interfaces to
other
languages sust as Java and guile.

GNUstep Launchpad consists of the following packages:

ffcall-1.6b (prerequisite)
libobjc-0.9.0 (prerequisite)
gnustep-make-0.9.1
gnustep-base-0.9.1
gnustep-guile-0.9.1
jigs-1.1.0

The source as well as rpms are (or soon will be) available at the
GNUstep ftp
site (ftp://ftp.gnustep.org/pub/gnustep). See the GNUstep website
(http://www.gnustep.org), the Download and Documentation sections, for
additional information.

----

This is a prerelease version of the package, in preparation for a 1.0
release.
As such we would appreciate any and as much testing of the packages as
possible.
This release was 'sanity checked' using GNUstep's Testsuite
(gnustep-tests),
also available at the ftp site.

Send bug reports and/or comments to bug-gnustep@gnu.org

P.S. At least in the short term, I need someone who can generate i386
rpms.
