Im going to write a backend for Y because DirectFB wants to become more than a library.
Chad seems to be busy putting together packages for simplygnustep. Im trying to complement his work by building a stripped down distro optimised for gnustep. I have barely started though. I have only gone as far as bootstrap gnustep-make on a uclibc/busybox system. I used simpleinit from uil-linux. Its just a base development system now optimised for building ctools. Its a great to be free from autoconf at last.
No graphics at all. It might be worthwhile to build x for now but i want to have a non-x gui as a target.
