Some change to the networking code before christmas appears to have broken
gdnc and friends on *BSD. I have problems on FreeBSD, and I have also heard
that the same problems affect NetBSD. So far I have not hgad the time to try
and track this down. Its irritating as it worked perfectly until now.
Does anyone want to hazzard a guess at what might have caused this ? The symtom
is (in general) that even witha running daemon, Apps cannot connect and try
and start a second one.
