Hi again,

here's a progress report. I wrote my own lrand48/srand48 using digits of
the sine function (good enough for testig GMastermind). Now the
application compiles. It complains that since my profile is on a network
drive, it cannot create the user defaults. This was discussed before and
it appears to be a problem with MinGW. The application launches and opens
a large window (higher than my screen). If I click the window, I get an
exception (array index out of bounds) and the program crashes.

Well I guess just the fact that everything compiled signals an
extraordinary achievement. Good work, people.
