I'm on a 24-bit display, so I don't know why it's trying to use an 8-bit map
here. Specifics of my configuration, if useful:
OS: Solaris 10
Video: FFB2+
Default depth: 24
Resolution: 1600x1200
So. What should I try now? :-)
