Hi,

You were right. It was caused due to the fact I had previously installed the GNUstep package.
I cleaned the machine and managed to install GNUstep, and compile GWorkspace and ProjectCenter and run them successfully.
Now I have problems with Gorm, but this is for another thread.

Segmentation fault

These error messages are not that specific. I would expect that something went wrong during the installation of GNUstep. Could you try to remove any previously installed version of GNUstep and then start the installation from scratch? The startup script will write a few log file, maybe you could send them along the next time to see, if anything went wrong there?
You should send you .GNUstepDefaults file as well, this can be found in the directory ~/GNUstep/Defaults. The next thing we need to know is what sort of machine you are using, processor and operating system.
