It will.   There have been a number of fixes in Gorm which justify a release.

Gorm is due for a major update in the next few months.

Gregory improved the situation by fixing Gorm, which now needs some regression testing.
I was able to open/edit/save the incriminated file without Zombies being called.

As you write not a GUI problem and I also hope that a Gorm release will shortly follow GUI.
