I'll have a look up there. Maybe I can do something over there prior
to the coding period to understand better where exactly GNUstep is
regarding AppKit and CoreGraphics/friends implementations.

Thanks for the view on the proposal, and for clearing up using foreign
frameworks in GNUstep.

Also, I have submitted a proposal draft to the Google Summer of Code
website, and it's on this Google Doc:

I do not know if that will eventually land on you, but I'd appreciate
