Well , how about multiple versions of the same library needed for running
two programs .... and how about local compiled stuff ...

IMHO, we just need to integrate apt-get into our GAC when we make it ...
The version/dependency managing GAC should be able to do all this and with
less work on our part (yeah, I'm lazy .. but that's why I write programs).
