It uses the email address supplied with the savannah account that
performs the commit, in the From field.

Though the message id (Message-Id) is <random>@savannah.gnu.org

Got the first messages (since it was "dead") day before yesterday, being
Aleksey Demakov's  libjit changes, just before that, I got a mail
delivery error for a commit I made to pnetlib.

Other than that, alot of spam has been on the list the last couple of
months.


P.S. Gopal, accidently sent to just you instead of the list... stupid 
mailapp :o
