Hello,
I am installing Dragora on another computer.
I have successfully installed several times the 32 bit iso on an older laptop
(a Thinkpad x31). It meant several trials and errors (not having the installation
guide by my side) but I made it.
I managed also with trials and errors to install a wireless card with ndiswrapper.
I would suggest including the kernel sources in future releases to allow a more
straightforward process, since the guide for compiling does not mention this
is needed beforehand.
Now getting to my present problem. I am installing the 64bit version on an ASUS
machine (Vivo VM40b). It does not have PS2 ports (keyboard, mice) so I have
a USB to ps2 cable adapter. During install the keyboard is fine but the mouse is
not seen. If I connect a usb mouse instead it again is not activated. The issue is
when I get to choosing which services to run, there is one that by default is not
starred in to start at boot, which starts the GUI  login. But I have not discovered
any way with the keyboard to select this. Is there a way with a set of keystrokes ?
I think I did this with my built-in trackpoint mouse on my IBM x31 ? but I am not
sure, anyway I did manage to have this and I definitely prefer over a terminal login.
If not how do I do this once my installation runs ?
It would be really nice if we could modify a text file that is read during installation
to allow to choose the different options for someone that is experienced. I have not
yet found such a file ? For instance I systematically run in dual boot and would like
to pre-write where is my Windows partition in the grub.cfg file. Also choose CD-rom
and /dev/sdb1 for loading from my USB key. Then I would not need to go back and
relearn everything if I need to reinstall in a years time.
Finally  I also have needed to reinstall completely whenever within windows I redo
partitions, since then the MBR does not point to the right place. I would really like a
standalone tool to correct GRUB or a possibility within the Dragora install to bypass
everthing until getting to the GRUB install part ?
Thanks for your time to read and answer.
Tim
