The 1GB file would be buried in among the 5MB chunks, probably
starting in one, spanning several, then ending in another. To
cleanly remove the one file and adjust all the other items would
require rewriting a fair part of the backup itself, at least the
two enclosing files, and renumbering and reindexing the rest.
Would be easier just to perform the backup again.
