could you elaborate? what's the difference between

A. an interrupted first full
B. an interrupted second full (which seems to be restarted if i read the code 
correctly)
C. an interrupted first incremental

probably i simply ask how restarting works in theory.

Also: if it really is not possible we should inform the user ;)
