Hi All!

I've tried DVDRTOOLS v0.1.5 (compiled from source) on a SuSE-Linux 8.1 box with
a Kernel 2.4.21 (also compiled from source) without any success :-(
Installed are 1 DVD-Rom Drive, Toshiba SD-M1612 and
1 DVD-Writer, Toshiba SD-R5002 as ist can be seen on the output
of 'dvdrecord -scanbus':

Trying to write a iso-image to a DVD-R/RW causes the following error:

dvdrecord: Drive does not support TAO recording.
dvdrecord: Illegal write mode for this drive.

I tried to write to the DVD-R/RW without any success before (getting
other error-messages) so possibly the Media has became damaged.
(?) can this be a reson for the error-message?
(?) what is TAO recording?

But when I try to call dvdrecord without any Media in the drive the
following error occurs - seems correct to me:

What's also interesting is the fact that both drives appear 7 times
when loading the ide-scsi-module.
(?) Is this normal? Can this be disabled in any way???
