Since we updated to Python 3.5.3, the patches that work around failures
in the test suite don't apply to Python 3.4 anymore.

Also, the Cpython maintainers didn't port the bug-fix that spurred the
update to 3.5.3 to the 3.4 series:

I asked about keeping it [0] and nobody piped up, so I'll remove it from
core-updates unless somebody objects.
