As I understand it, there is no such thing as a MinGW32 runtime.
The whole point of the MinGW32 environment is to use the system
runtime instead of the Cygwin runtime.

I use both MinGW32 and MSVC, but mostly the latter, since I am more familiar
with the debugger, and it compiles much quicker.
