Current there are a lot of file types that have no major mode within Emacs. A
good example would be /etc/X11/XF86Config (for GNU/Linux fans).
I have written a `comment-mode' which prompts for a comment-start string.
Usually

;
etc.
It then enables font-lock with a pattern that matches all comment lines.
Can we add this? I think it would help a lot of people.
