Ok, I now see your intention.  I've thought that Emacs 22.2,
3, ... are just bug-fix releases, but it seems that new
features will also go to Emacs 22.2, right?

I'm afraid that it resembles to the situation when it was
decided that we release Emacs 22.1 without Unicode patch
instead of Emacs 21.5, and even after that, new features
were continuously added for Emacs 22.1.

When are you going to declare feature freeze for Emacs 22.2?
