I think most people realize that you're not packing in your laptop but 
that your announcement is a chance to say something that otherwise might 
seem out of place, specifically how grateful most of us are for Emacs 
and your many accomplishments.  And a chance to offer up a vote of 
confidence in Stefan and Yidong.
