When I invoke
/usr/local/src/emacs/src/emacs -Q -D \
-fn "-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--20-200-75-75-C-100-ISO8859-1"
an error says
Font `-Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--20-200-75-75-C-100-ISO8859-1' is not defined
but x-fixed-font-alist in ... emacs/lisp/mouse.el
does define the font and xlsfonts lists it when I evoke the
definition in x-fixed-font-alist
This was a failing in February in 2008 that went away. I built GNU
Emacs successfully yesterday, but with
Today's GNU Emacs CVS snapshot, Wed, 2008 Mar 5 12:02 UTC
GNU Emacs 23.0.60.4 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.5)
it failed.
