Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
If I type
M-x quoted-insert RET
then after a moment the echo area will display
M-x q u o t e d i n s e r t RET-
in expectation for a following character. The - of `quoted-insert'
will not get displayed in any way.
Weird.
In GNU Emacs 21.3.50.3 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
of 2003-04-26 on lola.goethe.zz
configured using `configure '--prefix=/usr/local/emacs-21' '--with-gtk''
