It's a good news that you are using them. Thank you.
I've never tested Tramp and old ange-ftp in Emacs 20.7 and up
yet since those ange-ftp's (without Tramp) don't work for a
mysterious reason. It is also the reason that I've been an
XEmacs user for years. Anyway, using Emacs 19's ange-ftp is no
more than a trial. I need to try them gradually.
