I guess I just have a different expectation of what making something
visible should mean.  If there's an X11 term which means something
else then I guess it's OK to use that, but isn't it odd to refer to a
window you can't see as being visible?  Maybe not.  Australia's
visible and I can't see that at the moment on account of it being
buried down under.  Hmmm.  Just ignore me then.  :)


This actually describes the situation very well.
