emacs -Q
C-x b *scratch*
Type (frame-parameters), then C-u C-x C-e (yes, there are other ways
in *scratch* to get the same result).
Put the cursor on the opening paren after (frame-parameters). Hit
RET. I would expect RET to be bound to `newline', and just insert a
newline. Instead, it is bound to `last-sexp-toggle-display'. Why, oh
why? Why not put that toggle on some other key; there are lots of keys
available in *scratch*.
How is one supposed to insert a newline? I resorted to C-q C-j, but
perhaps there is something more clever.
This doesn't seem like great design, to me, but I'm probably missing
something.
In GNU Emacs 22.1.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)

Windowing system distributor `Microsoft Corp.', version 5.1.2600
