I use goto-addr so that I can have links in all my files. i.e. in my
Tex documents I have links to my Matlab scripts. In my Matlab
scripts I have links to my Tex documents.

Is there a better alternative?

I don't know how to turn it off for just one mode. I could just turn
it on for the modes that I want it in, I guess. However, it doesn't
really bug me that much to have the link a little broken in Planner.

Cheers, Jody
