johnsu01: Are you running something like that too? Goto-addr changes
the mouse-2 binding on e-mail addresses, but I'm not sure if that
changes anything.

[[gnus://mail.planner/<address@hidden>][E-Mail from address@hidden

That gets highlighted by emacs-wiki as

E-Mail from address@hidden

and goto-addr then replaces the keymap of address@hidden, so mouse-2
acts strange. goto-address-highlight-keymap takes over the 'keymap
property, so the usual emacs-wiki bindings are lost. That's why RET no
longer works properly: goto-addr is grabbing the keys.

At least I think that's how it works. C-h k RET to check what actually
gets run.

By the way, is there any particular reason you use goto-addr? Maybe
you can add a hook to turn it off in planner mode, as planner
highlights links...
