Well, arch itself is inherantly distributed, so I guess it makes the most
sense to make a branch of an archive that is close to what you want, and
then merge in stuff from other archives that you also want.

On the other hand, Sacha is good about accepting changes from distributed
branches back into her tree, so unless you particularly want to track
one hackers line of development, Sacha's is the blessed version...

That too :-)  I am tracking Sacha's stable branches, so although there
isn't much code churn in my archives, none of the new stuff Sacha is working
on arrives in my branch until it has filtered into stable.  And similarly,
the features I am working on (as opposed to bugfixes which I pass upstream
asap) may take a long time to arrive in Sacha's tree -- or might even be
rejected entirely.  It really depends on what features you are interested in.
