Ok, here're the facts. The streaming stuff has a new API and works
completely different. Basically, now you don't listen to a continuous
stream, but you request a playlist with stream urls for each track
(that's called Xspf, dunno what that stands for). Those tracks get
submitted and thereby rated like local tracks, with some flags set
appropriately.
Unfortunately that's not documented, so you have to reverse engineer the
protocol by looking at the sources of the official client.
As I don't listen to the last.fm radio regularly, I don't want to spend
much time doing this. So if somebody wants to volunteer, feel free to
do so.
