After almost a year and half of research, head breaks to find certain parts, here of return with its engine and its new painting.
I think I solved the wiring problems now, just need to get a new yuasa battery. After spending many, many thousands of dollars the bike is starting to take shape and started up on the first hit of the starter button.

A sporty bike in Candy Gold. I spend hours on this job. Also the computer generated graphics make it worthwhile watching. Meanwhile, this movie showcases the feature rich Pantheon.

Dry-Sumps are simply quieter, smoother engines than the later wet-sumps.

The movie shows impressive footage of the Varadero riding the curved tarmac in an extraordinay scenery. This one will fire on the first kick, runs wonderfully. Fits just lovely with the original split rim and a duro tyre.
Fortunate for the CUB it still manage to work even after riding a couple of miles.
