Hi Ronan
Your fabtools looks very impressive. As I am planning for reorganization of my servers, I am considering using it too.

Thanks!

Couple of quiestions:
  • stability: it states it is in Alpha. What is real status in this regard?

It's getting better all the time. :)

I'm using it in production on several projects, but I would like to have more features, better documentation, more tests and more user feedback before calling it stable or 1.0.

  • There is new Ubuntu 12.04 LTS out, are you planning to have it running/tested for this version?

Yes, I'd like the next release to be tested on 12.04 LTS.

  • what is current user base, is there any discussion forum?
Not sure about the size of the user base.

Some people have contributed useful feedback and improvements on github (thanks guys!).

Some extra stats:
– cumulated downloads on PyPI since initial release: 1874
– github watchers: 93
– github forks: 19

I'd be happy to create a google group for fabtools-specific discussions.
