here we are at the 10th april deadline... we now have a better idea of 
who is doing what.

  maths/diff.tex: Clare Johnson
  maths/finance.tex: Greg Solomon and Bianca Ruddy
  maths/functions.tex: Katie Russell
  maths/geometry.tex: Lerato Xaba
  maths/numbers.tex: Me
  maths/patterns.tex: Frans van Eeden

and the next deadline is the 1st may.

to anybody else who is unassigned... please note the following are 
still free
