So are you deleting the files from FLE's user interface or from ZMI?

I tested this with versions 1.4.2 and 1.4.3b, which both worked. This
may be a bug that has already been fixed, or could be caused by some
weird upgrade problem.

Anyway I suggest upgrading to 1.4.3 after the 13th of June.
