[fluid-dev] fluidsynth on AWS Linux

Continuing my attempt to install fluidsynth on AWS Linux (a CentOS derivative) via “sudo yum install fluidsynth”.

Since it was failing with the message “No package fluidsynth available.”, I figured the problem might be that yum didn’t have access to a repository containing fluidsynth.

A web search yielded this list of fluidsynth repositories: http://pkgs.org/search/?query=fluidsynth

Updated /etc/yum.repos.d with a .repo entry for LinuxTECH (but the following symptom is the same for all the listed repositories).

Ran "sudo yum install fluidsynth” again, and this time it found something.  Progress!

Unfortunately, it failed with a remarkable raft of dependencies, attached below.

Any helpful suggestions?
