[Freebangfont-devel] pango 1.0.5 and bangla etc

Hiya,
the pango-viewer thingy doesn't render bangla or punjabi or several other
scripts. I used code2000, akaash, mitra mono.
The english/cryllic, hebrew and arabic letters come out fine, but bangla
is just boxes...

The fonts work with opera so its not the font server.
I'm on KDE, SuSE7.3 (2.4.10-4GB)
Xfree version 4.x
qt 3

any ideas ?

PS. I like the fact that we have fonts with just the bangla glyphs -
code2000 slows opera down quite a bit due to its size I guess
