In fact a translation agency does not care which CAT program you use,
provided it is interoperable with Trados: which means you can export the
content of your TM into a "txt format" completely compatible with Trados.

If this is the case, there is no problem. Otherwise translators would be
forced to use Trados and no other CAT program.

Moreover, I think Julien successfully imported a Trados-based TM into
WordFast, which means WordFast can export its own TMs into a Trados
compatible format, which also means, we can ask them how we should proceed
to get such an intermediate format in-between Trados and FreeCats.
