Yeah, it's a nice little library that includes not just the
text support, but also standard vector primitives as well.
But the advantage of D-Type is that is does outlines (with
variable width). The disadvantage is that it's not free and
not open.
And you can't get source, and you can't relicense it.

It's got a REALLY FUNKY API, but a little C++ fixes that up quickly ;).
