The HDRMACRO feature of FTJam is critical to build FreeType. Without
it, you simply cannot build the font engine with Jam. All other
differences between Jam and FTJam are minor and more or less
cosmetic..

I've just checked, and it seems that Jam 2.4 doesn't contain a
similar feature; this would mean that FTJam is still required

I'll probably need to find a small half-hour to make the update.
However, I'd better wait for the official 2.4 release before
doing so, since for now, Perforce has only provided "release
candidates"..

Note that I'd like to ditch the "old" Make-based build system
entirely. This won't happen until the official Jam has all
features required to compile the library...
