This is a regression wrt. freetype 2.1.3rc2, as far as I can see.

Assuming:
- You have an OOo build against system freetype 2.1.3
- You simply roll down the fonts menu bottom-up until "Broadway"  font
(which has embedded bitmaps). Then, OOo crashes.
