[ft-devel] Infinality

Hi,

What will it take to get the infinality patches merged into freetype?

I ask because after upgrading to Fedora 21 I can't seem to install it 
and even with freetype-freeworld the font rendering is, quite honestly, 
horrible. Blurry and gives me a headache within 10 minutes. If anyone 
knows how to get infinality working on Fedora 21 I'd be happy, but 
that's not the main purpose of my email. The fonts on OSX and Windows do 
not give me a headache (after tweaking the hinting) so why is everything 
on Linux so blurry (which I could fix with infinality)? I'm typing this 
in Windows 7 because, I'm serious, I cannot use a Linux distro with 
freetype for more than 10 minutes without getting a migraine.
