[Freetype] ugly fonts with high resolution

Hi,

I have a problem with high resolution (1600x1200) in X on an IBM
Thinkpad with 15" LCD and READON X-Server. When I use this resolution,
all the fonts are distorted. However, it seems to be fine when I use a
smaller resolution. Anti-Aliasing and Bytecode interpreter are disabled
and I use TrueType fonts.

I'm using freetype 2.1.3 (SuSE 8.2 RPM) but I have also tried 2.1.4.
