I think I'd much prefer to see a good consensus from people; electing a
committee has turned out to be harder than it seems in the past :)

For what it's worth - the date we're thinking of for the AGM is the 13th
August. This is within the time we have to hold the AGM, and also
doesn't clash with other interesting meetings people might like to go
to. More suggestions on venue are always welcome!!

Actually, I think it's a pretty cool idea, but I wonder if we should
also have some kind of face to face meeting before AGM? Some people
(probably those who hang around irc) will know I've been considering
trying to organise some kind of beer-up, maybe we should have one in
July?

The danger, of course, is that people who can't attend feel excluded,
but I also think there's a benefit to having conversations in groups.

I think the most important thing is to find out what tasks people think
AFFS should focus on - the structure and stuff should support the work,
rather than the other way around.
