Yes, it is present.
Could you send me files:
* config.log
* config.h
* config.status
* console log
from ./autogen.sh
No i cannot, since those files does not exist
after configure bailed out. So i tried to run
autogen.sh again, this time i got another error:
checking for a Python interpreter with version >= 2.3... python
checking for python... /usr/bin/python
checking for python version... 2.3
checking for python platform... linux2
checking for python script directory...
${prefix}/lib/python2.3/site-packages
checking for python extension module directory...
${exec_prefix}/lib/python2.3/site-packages
./configure: line 23484: syntax error near unexpected token
`,have_python=no'
./configure: line 23484: ` AM_CHECK_PYTHON_HEADERS(,have_python=no)'
But this time i got the log files you requested,
i send them in a .gz to you privatley.
I also did:
$ which python
/usr/bin/python
$locate /usr/bin/python
/usr/bin/python2.3
/usr/bin/python
~$ python -V
Python 2.3.4
