Hi,

Where? I didn't see anything in the log.

When 'make' fails with:

  make[2]: Entering directory `/home/arpit/Desktop/libpeas-2.29.0/libpeasui'
  GEN PeasUI-2.0.gir
  GEN PeasUI-2.0.typelib
Error at line 17, character 39: Could not find GIR file
'Peas-2.0.gir'; check XDG_DATA_DIRS or use --includedir

it is important to check the options available to configure:

  ./configure --help

One of the options is to pass the directory where gir files are
located using --with-girdir=DIR. If that doesn't solve the problem,
please write to the AUTHORS on the above.

---
| configure: installing .gir files in /usr/share/gir-1.0
\--

Some are installed in the above. It also helps to read the configure
output, as it is quite verbose and meaningful.

BTW, you can run "./configure; make" as a regular user, but need to
use "sudo make install" or "make install" as root from the sources or
build directory for installation. If you decide to compile sources,
don't delete these sources, as these are required during
uninstallation.
