checking for KDE 4.x header path... configure: error: You specified building 
kde4, but you have kde3 installed!

Much better! 
KDE3 configuration and build still works.

Attempts to install kdelibs5-dev will remove kdelibs4-dev,
I'd stick to kde3 for some more time..
