[Gnash-dev] Sound support?

Can anybody tell me how far the Sound support in Gnash is? I am trying
to develop an application with recorded voice guide. Preferably I'd
like to load external .mp3 or .swf files, each with one sample,
on demand (loadSound). If that is not possible I can also embed the
sounds in one single .swf file.

Anyway, I could not manage to have Gnash play some sounds (various
machines). Either GST plugins are missing or Gnash prints a number of
UNIMPLEMENTED messages:

18994] 14:53:48: UNIMPLEMENTED: Different stream/playback sound rate 
(5512/11025)
18994] 14:53:48: UNIMPLEMENTED: Different stream/playback sample size (32/16)
18994] 14:53:48: ERROR: No samples advertised for sound stream
18994] 14:53:48: UNIMPLEMENTED: MP3 delay seek 1633

What sample format/rate is required for current Gnash CVS? Do they
have to be embedded? Which format? ...?
