A Hurd-based port is not hard, I can do hurd-i386 metad in 5 minutes. But I
can't magically turn it into a mature platform which is what gNewSense users
expect.
kFreeBSD-based ports are another story. It's likely there'll be a stable
release of Debian based on them soon.
